Dr. Febri Doni
Febri Doni is an assistant professor in the Department of Biology, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. He did his postdoctoral training at the Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Malaya. He completed his master and Ph.D degrees from The National University of Malaysia in 2014 and 2017 respectively, where he held a graduate research assistant fellowship from 2012 to 2017. During his master and Ph.D programmes at The National University of Malaysia, he was supervised by Prof. Wan Mohtar Wan Yusoff (former president of Malaysian Agroecology Society) and co-supervised by Prof. Emeritus Norman Uphoff of Cornell University, an internationally renowned agroecologist and leading promoter of the System of Rice Intensification (SRI). He is the former executive secretary of the Malaysian Agroecology Society and he has been promoting SRI since 2012. His present work focuses on plant-microbe interactions, microbial effects with SRI crop management, phytopathology, and agroecology.
Prof. Dr. Novizar Nazir
Novizar Nazir is a Professor in Agricultural Product Technology at Andalas University, Indonesia. He has a lot of experiences in cooperation with several universities in Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam and Spain. He is one of the coordinator of the Working Group on Scientific Communication at the ASEAN Universities Consortium on Food and Agro-Based Engineering and Technology (2014). In addition, he is also the Coordinator of the SAFE-Network (Asia Pacific Network for Sustainable Agriculture, Food and Energy), the founder of Halal-Care Indonesia (2012), an institution which provides information and education on Halal products for Moslem consumers, co-founder of ILCAN-Indonesian of Life Cycle Assessment Network (2015).
